masterchef-junior-ratings-foxFox has ordered up a fourth season of “MasterChef Junior,” which has continued to perform well for the network in tough time slots.

This season, “MasterChef Junior” is television’s No. 1-rated cooking show among adults 18-49 and total viewers (6 million). It was a ratings winner when it premiered in the fall of 2013 on Fridays, and then has held its own on Tuesdays this season despite facing the likes of “The Voice” and “NCIS.”

Fox also said Tuesday that Christina Tosi, renowned pastry chef, owner and founder of New York City’s Milk Bar, will join chefs Gordon Ramsay and Graham Elliot on both the “MasterChef” and “MasterChef Junior” judging panels.

Season six of “MasterChef” is currently in production and will air this summer. Production on the fourth season of “MasterChef Junior” will begin this spring.

“MasterChef” and “MasterChef Junior” are produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato, and they are based on a format created by Franc Roddam and Endemol Shine. Elisabeth Murdoch, Eden Gaha, Paul Franklin, Robin Ashbrook, Gordon Ramsay, Adeline Ramage Rooney, Patricia Llewellyn and Ben Adler serve as executive producers.
