Flipboard today significantly expanded the availability of its magazine-like digital reader. The application is now available to all Android smartphones, as well as the Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble Nook.

In addition to the new device compatibility, Flipboard added integration with Google+ and YouTube, just the iOS version.

Google gave Flipboard special access to its API for Google+, which enabled the additional functionality. Users who have a Google+ account can now see all of their activity in circles in the trademark Flipboard magazine-style interface. Similarly, users can now also flip through their YouTube subscriptions include Most Viewed, Trending Videos and Top Favorites.

Additionally, Flipboard has also added support for other languages. Additional editions include Flipboard for Germany, Italy, Korea, Netherlands and Spain with a fully translated interface as well as reading recommendations offered by local curators

FlipBoard lets users pull in the content they want from various sources and then flip through the content as though reading a magazine. The articles and other content displayed in the app can then be expanded and shared with others via Facebook, Twitter, email, and so on. FlipBoard a free download from the Google Play Store.
