Matt LeBlanc takes the wheel in the first trailer for the new, rebooted season of “Top Gear.”

“I’m going to have a good long talk with the wardrobe department … with a stick,” LeBlanc, who dons a starred and striped patriotic helmet that matches his mini car, says in the teaser.

In addition to LeBlanc, the trailer also features fellow new host Chris Evans (not the “Captain America” star), who “feels the heat” while racing a luxury sports car. Formula One commentator Eddie Jordan, German racing champ Sabine Schmitz, and journalists Chris Harris and Rory Reid complete the team for the 23rd season of the hit series.

The Individualists celebrates the art of storytelling in a series of portraits and short films. Personal anecdotes from independent leaders in film explore individuality and its affect on their lives.

The sixsome takes over for previous host Jeremy Clarkson, who was suspended after a physical altercation with producer Oisin Tymon. Fellow presenters James May and Richard Hammond also left the show after the BBC opted not to renew Clarkson’s contract. Last month, Clarkson settled a racial discrimination and injury claim with Tymon.

The trio is now working on their own motoring show for Amazon Prime, which is set to premiere later this year.

“I feel like I’ve climbed out of a biplane and into a spaceship,” Clarkson said about working with the streaming service.

The new season of “Top Gear” will debut in May on BBC America.
