FIFA 16You can now play this year’s new FIFA for free on PSN, as EA has released a demo featuring 12 teams and the new FUT Draft. The full game is released in just over two weeks, but you can play  pretty extensively on the demo right now. The PlayStation 4 download is a pretty hefty 4.6GB, while the PlayStation 3 version comes in at 1.6GB.

When you first start the demo you have to play as Real Madrid CF at home to FC Barcelona, but after that the game opens up to include eight other club teams: Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Chelsea FC, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, River Plate, and Seattle Sounders. You also get two women’s international teams for Germany and the US, with the addition of female players being one of the major new features of the main game.

There are three stadiums included as well: Borussia-Park, Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu, and CenturyLink Field. But there’s more to the demo than just that, with a chance to play the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Draft mode. The demo will let you build your own squad and try it out in an offline match. You can also give FIFA Trainer a spin – a new optional training system that monitors how you play and gives you advice on how to improve yourself.

Finally, six of the new skill games are included in the demo, which you can play while matches are loading, and if you play Borussia Mönchengladbach at Borussia-Park you’ll get Bundesliga Broadcast Presentation on the PlayStation 4, but not 3. FIFA 16 is set to be released on Thursday, September 24 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
