Fallout 4 Will Have Remote Play Controls Optimized for PS Vita

For those considering playing Fallout 4 using the PlayStation Vita via Remote Play, there may have some good news. It looks like Bethesda have been working to tweak the controls for the game when using the handheld device.

This has been revealed when Bethesda took to Twitter to thank designer Josh Hamrick for his help in creating the control scheme for Fallout 4:

Hamrick is known for his work with Destiny to improve the Remote Play control scheme for users. With the Vita having fewer buttons available to the player during gameplay often this can hold back the fun while playing. It looks like this won’t be so much of a problem if Hamrick has been working on Remote Play with Bethesda to get it right.

With Fallout 4 being released on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One November 10 it will be available to players in less than a month. Obviously anticipation for the release is growing and any good news such as this will be a good sign, especially for players who own a PlayStation 4 and Playstation Vita and will be looking to play it through the Remote Play feature.

It will be interesting to see what the control scheme for the game will be, and how it will use the Vita’s touchscreen which is on the rear of the device. Certainly we’ll be hearing more about this as we get closer to the release.
