Fallout 4 has been given another new update by Bethesda, although Xbox One users will need to wait a few days.

Fallout 4 update 4 1.7.22 is live on PC, and will be released on Xbox One later this week. According to the patch notes, the small update fixes issues with mods not appearing properly.

And speaking of mods, Bethesda’s Pete Hines has revealed more about the 2GB storage limit for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remastered mods on Xbox One. Fans have been begging for more storage space to download mods since they launched on Xbox One earlier this year.

However, according to marketing boss Pete Hines, the storage limit isn’t set by Bethesda, it’s actually set by Microsoft. Fans were also concerned that the 2GB limit would be shared between Fallout 4 and Skyrim Remastered.

Hines was quick to alleviate fears, telling fans that space is typically allocated on a per-title basis.

“Usually consoles allocate space on a per-title basis,” he said. “Not across a developer/publisher/initiative.”

were recently cancelled on PS4, after Sony and Bethesda failed to come to an agreement about how they would be implemented. However, some fans have accused Bethesda of signing an exclusivity deal with Microsoft and then pinning the blame on Sony.
