EVGA Introduces the Hadron Air Mini-ITX Case

EVGA is releasing the Hadron Air enclosure, which is a Mini-ITX case.

The idea of the Hadron Air is that it is a compact enclosure able to house relatively powerful components. It has room for up to two 2.5″ or 3.5″ drives and two 120 mm case fans. Graphics cards can measure up to 267 mm long, which might be a tad too short for the most powerful graphics cards, but can still house beasts. On the right side of the case there is a slit, behind which a slim slot-loading optical drive can be mounted. Next to this, users will find two USB 3.0 ports as well as a pair of HD audio ports. The left side of the case features an acrylic side window.

The case also has its own built-in PSU — a 500 W 80-Plus Gold unit, which is more than enough to power almost anything you’ll mount in this enclosure.

EVGA has granted the case a three year manufacturer warranty, and slapped an MSRP price on it of $189.99. For a Micro-ATX case, it might seem like a bit much, but remember, it has a custom-tailored 500 W 80-Plus Gold PSU inside it.

There was no word on availability.
