Fans of TV series Fringe and Gossip Girl can begin the final countdown, as last episode information has been released for both series for their respective networks, Fox and the CW.

Jan. 18, 2013 is when it all comes to an end for Fringe. The Fox drama revealed Friday that its final two episodes — one of which is the series’ 100th — will air back-to-back starting at 8/7c on that day. Speaking recently to TVLine star Anna Torv said that she thinks viewers will be pleased with the sci-fi saga’s finale. “In film, you can have sad endings – like, ‘Oh well, it could’ve been’ – but with television you put so much time into these people that when you do finally say goodbye, you should be satisfied,” she said. “Not necessarily happy, but not heartbroken.”

The CW has announced that Gossip will wrap up its six-season run with a two-hour season finale, set to air on December 17 at 8 p.m. ET.

What might be in store for the over-privileged Upper East Side crew in its final days? A whole lot of drama and, according to The CW, “a look back at the unforgettable OMG moments of the series that made headlines, including interviews with the cast and creators themselves.”
