EKWB Debuts X-Series Water Cooling Kits with Thick Radiators

X360_1200_w_600 EKWB announced two new water cooling kits, expanding on its existing selection of EK-KIT series of products. The new kits are part of the new X-series, and are now the company’s two flagship water cooling kits.

The X in the name likely stems from some deviation of extreme, which isn’t surprising as the kits come with some important parts. The radiators in the kits are a staggering 6 cm thick. They are the EK-CoolStream RAD XTX 240 or 360 rads, which are either dual or triple 120 mm radiators. Be careful though; these radiators will have some trouble fitting inside many cases. If you are unsure of whether it fits, check your measurements carefully or refer to the list of supported cases on the EKWB website.

Both the EK-KIT X240 and the EK-KIT X360 come with most everything you need to set up a water cooling loop, including an EK-Supremacy CPU water block, an EK-DDC 3.2 PWM Elite Edition water pump, an EK-RES X3 150 reservoir, along with a radiator, tubing, all the fittings you will need, coolant, and, of course, two or three fans. You will even find a 24-pin ATX adapter which can be used to switch on your PSU without having to connect it to your motherboard, ensuring that you can safely fill the water loop with fluid.

Because the kits come with rather high-quality components, the kits are quite pricey. MSRP pricing is set at €342.95 and €365.95 for the 240 mm variant and the 360 mm variant, respectively, with US pricing set at $468.40 and $499.81. While they are already listed on the EKWB webshop,  it appears that they sold at time of this post.
