A demo for Dragon Quest Heroes II is now available on the PlayStation Store in North America and Europe.
The demo features four of the 15 playable characters from the full game’s story mode, including newcomers Lazarel and Teresa, and legacy characters Carver of Dragon Quest VI and Maribel of Dragon Quest VII. Players will get to experience the game’s battle system, expansive environments, and “abundant treasures” through specially-designed quests where they must defend Greena Pastures from hordes of monsters and a “colossal boss.”
Unlike the first game, Dragon Quest Heroes II will also feature a cooperative multiplayer mode, where up to 4 players can face off against swarms of enemies together.
The full game comes out for PS4 and PC (on Steam) April 25 in North America and on April 28 in Europe. Anyone who pre-orders the game’s Explorer’s Edition will get 15 in-game bonus weapons, a Dragon Quest PS4 theme, a Dragon Quest 1 hero costume, and a “Healix the Hero Recipe” you can use in Dragon Quest Builders.
