Nightwing may have unearthed the shadowy, high-tech organization known as the Dark Web, but their motivations, along with where and how they may strike next, are still largely unknown. However, this week’s NIGHTWING ANNUAL #1 from DC Comics may offer us our first clue. Recovering from his recent battle, Dick responds to a summon from Vicki Vale, the intrepid—and quite beautiful—Gotham City reporter. The Gotham Four News office seems to have been hacked, which is hardly surprising considering how common attacks on the media are these days.
