Dell has introduced a new notebook, the M3800, that aims to pair workstation-level performance with an attractive aesthetic design. The 18mm-thick housing combines a carbon-fiber base with an aluminum frame and aluminum cover for the 15.6-inch touchscreen, which is protected by Gorilla Glass and features options for 1920×1080 or 3200×1800 resolutions.
Internally, the M3800 provides a choice between Intel’s Haswell-generation Core i7 processors alongside a 2GB Nvidia Quadro graphics card, with support for multiple external displays and 4K resolution. Two battery options are offered, including a 91Wh cell that is claimed to reach past ten hours of typical use.
The M3800 is expected to ship on November 14 with prices starting at $1800.
