Netflix has released the official trailer for Ciaran Foy’s horror tale Eli starring Charlie Shotwell, Sadie Sink, Lili Taylor, Kelly Reilly and Max Martini.
The film begins with a family making a last resort effort to cure their son’s auto-immune disorder. To do this they move into a sterile manor during his treatments. The boy is soon tormented by terrifying visions, deemed hallucinations, even as something sinister may lurk within these walls.
Originally slated to be released by Paramount, Netflix acquired the film and have now set an October 18th release date. David Chirchirillo, Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing co-wrote the script which made the 2015 Black List.
