In anticipation for the upcoming drama series, “Matador,” El Rey Network has just dropped a first trailer.
The show stars Gabriel Luna (who appeared in Jack Black’s “Bernie”) as a famous soccer player who only uses the sport as a cover for his real profession: A spy for the Central Intelligence Agency. Molina seems to be a playing a boss/director character.
The series, helmed by the writers and producers of “Star Trek” and “Transformers,” will premiere on July 15 — two days after the end of the World Cup.
