CBS Orders Full Seasons for All Four of Its New Dramas

CBS is giving the greenlight to full season orders for all four of its new dramas, including the #1 and #2 new series of the season, “NCIS: New Orleans” and “Scorpion,” along with Sunday’s #1 scripted broadcast show, “Madam Secretary,” as well as suspense thriller “Stalker.”

“These four shows have had an immediate impact on our schedule by improving nights, winning time periods and adding more hours of success across our primetime line up,” said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment.

The Scott Bakula-led “NCIS: New Orleans” averaged 18.16 million viewers according to Nielsen’s most current ratings, with the most recent October 21 episode broadcast delivering its highest adults 18-49 rating since the series premiere. “Scorpion” is Monday’s most-watched drama averaging 15.17 million viewers, while the Tea Leoni-starrer “Madam Secretary” ranks as Sunday’s #1 scripted broadcast and #4 new series with 13.53 million viewers, while “Stalker” won its Wednesday night time slot in viewers and key demographics every week this season.

“NCIS: New Orleans” stars Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, CCH Pounder and Rob Kerkovich. Gary Glasberg, Mark Harmon, Jeffrey Lieber and James Hayman are the executive producers for CBS Television Studios.

“Scorpion” stars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong and Ari Stidham. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Nick Santora, Nicholas Wootton, Justin Lin, Heather Kadin, Scooter Braun and Walter O’Brien are the executive producers for CBS Television Studios.

“Madam Secretary” stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Bebe Neuwirth, Željko Ivanek, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Geoffrey Arend, Kathrine Kerzer, Evan Roe and Wallis-Currie Wood. Barbara Hall is an executive producer with Revelations’ Lori McCreary and Morgan Freeman, and David Semel.

“Stalker” stars Maggie Q, Dylan McDermott, Victor Rasuk, Mariana Klaveno and Elisabeth Röhm. Kevin Williamson is the executive producer for Warner Bros. Television.
