The summer issue of Capitol Couture was released earlier this week and, as we previously reported, it features a profile on District 7 past Hunger Games champion Johanna Mason.
Today, the Capitol has issued an addendum to the new issue that illustrates the influence that District 12’s recent champions, Katniss Everdeen, aka “The Girl on Fire,” and Peeta Mellark are having on fashion throughout Panem.
“I was inspired by the interpretation of coal mining,” says Covergirl Capitol Makeup Artist Dotti, “by the colors in coal mining: the dust, the grey, the silvers and the black.”
