BlackBerry has made available updates to the BlackBerry Messenger application for both the Android and iOS platforms.
The Android version of BBM gains support for BBM contact categories, Group List sorting and filtering, more PIN-sharing options, and the ability to search for BBM users through social networks. The iOS version of BBM gains support for iPads and iPods running iOS6/7, improved right-to-left language support, PIN-sharing options, and social network searching. It also resolves a bug that left some users unable to see BBM contact names.
BlackBerry Messenger is free to download from the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store.
