The Better Homes and Gardens Network is launching Recipe.com, a new website featuring quick recipes and easy meal ideas. Recipe.com brings together the best recipes from several of the top food brands and recipe websites, including celebrities such as Tyler Florence and media brands such as Better Homes and Gardens, EatingWell.com, Fine Cooking, Vegetarian Times, and The Food Channel.

More than 20,000 recipes are already available on the site from a number of contributors, including quick and easy chicken recipes, low calorie recipes, and healthy cooking recipes. The new website will be adding thousands more Halloween candy and treat recipes, Thanksgiving recipes for dinner, dessert, and more, as well as Christmas recipes in the coming weeks and months leading up to the holidays.

“Time and again in research, consumers have told us they like recipe and meal ideas that come from leading, trusted brands, but have not been able to access them without visiting numerous different sites,” said Jeff Myers, Vice President/General Manager of Special Interest Media. “We are providing a valuable customer service by making thousands of branded recipes – many of them professionally developed and tested – available in one destination at Recipe.com.”

Site Features:

  1. A photo accompanies every recipe on the site.
  2. More than 2,300 different categories of recipes can be easily found and browsed, with the most popular recipes within each category being highlighted.
  3. Real-time rankings of the day’s most popular recipes and recipe searches from the site are displayed on every page.
  4. A weekly e-newsletter, Your Weekly Dish, features a variety of partner recipes in each edition.
  5. Cooking prizes are given away daily.
  6. Twitter updates are available by following www.twitter.com/recipedotcom

“We’re pleased that we have been able to collaborate on win-win business terms with several leading brands in making the site available to consumers,” continued Myers. “We will continue to include partners who can add more of the web’s best recipes to the collection.”
