The BBC will be broadcasting the finals of the Wimbledon tennis tournament in 3D for the third year running, despite the low numbers of 3D-capable HDTV owners in the country. The finals and semi-finals in both the men’s and women’s competitions will be shown live on the broadcaster’s “Red Button” service in the United Kingdom in 3D, as part of the corporation’s trials with 3D content.
