AT&T Grows Its LTE Footprint a Smidge

AT&T has expanded the availability of its LTE 4G network to new markets yet again. Today, it announced that LTE is available in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth, Va., for the first time., as well as Albany, Dalton, and Calhoun, Ga. It also expanded its existing LTE service in Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania.

Last week, AT&T lit up LTE in Macon, Ga., and Ithaca, N.Y. Customers in these regions with LTE-capable equipment should see a boost in mobile browsing speeds.
