Art Lebedev Studio Gave out release time frame their next wave of technology Tuesday. It has started taking pre-orders for the Mini Six, its six-key programmable LCD keyboard. Coming from Russia, it should cost $376 and serves as a companion tool for Macs or PCs to handle common tasks or show live status updates.

Its long-delayed Optimus Popularis is also up. The complete keyboard replacement costs a steeper $1,086. In return for the much higher price, users get both a notebook-sized keyboard, each key of which has an LCD, as well as a dedicated status display above the number row. A function key lets keys perform a second task.

Either device comes with an app for both Macs and PCs to let users program the keyboard to change its role in-app or to change it for specific languages. On the Popularis, users can tune the status display.
