Apple is targeting the Chinese market with the latest update to GarageBand for iOS for all users.
The new 2.1.1 update is designed to “celebrate the rich history of Chinese music,” and brings with it several new traditional Chinese instruments including the pipa, erhu, and Chinese percussion. Also included in the update are 300 new Apple-created Chinese musical loops.
The latest version also allows Chinese users to share their creations on the Chinese social networks QQ and Youku, as well as some Accessibility improvements and the usual “stability improvements and bug fixes.
