Apple today is indeed now selling the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus unlocked, SIM free and without any form of contract, in the United States. Previously, you could buy an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus full price from Apple for T-Mobile and easily add in any SIM card you wanted, but now it’s simply labeled as an unlocked device.

Apple’s U.S. store website now lists both phones and says they are expected to ship within 3-5 business days. When you go through the process of buying either the iPhone 6 Plus or the iPhone 6, you now have the option to choose whether you want to buy one for AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint or Verizon Wireless, or SIM-free at an unsubsidized cost. The iPhone 6 starts at $649 with 16GB of storage while the iPhone 6 Plus starts at $749 with the same storage capacity.
