The renewal comes just days before the show’s return for the second half of The Walking Dead Season 9, but it’s great for fans to know the show is already confirmed to be returning. There was never any question about whether the show would be renewed. Even with the continued erosion, it still packs a punch in the ratings.
Season to date, The Walking Dead Season 9 is pulling in 5.2 million total viewers along with with a 2.0 rating in the adults 18-49 demo in live + same day metrics.
The tenth season will mark the first full season without Andrew Lincoln, who departed early into the current season.
