Adonit Launches the Adobe-Enabled Jot Touch Pixelpoint Stylus

Adonit has unveiled the Jot Touch with Pixelpoint, an iPad stylus based on Adobe’s new SDK. Its name refers to the Pixelpoint tip, which is extremely precise and has 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity. Supporting apps also make use of the stylus’ two shortcut buttons, and turn on palm rejection to prevent accidental input.

Because of the Adobe integration, compatible apps can quickly pull files from Creative Cloud, copy and paste those images between devices, and access Adobe’s Kuler palette tool. So far, though, only Adobe’s own Line and Sketch apps are enabled.

A built-in battery lasts for 11 hours of continuous use. Adonit is selling the Jot Touch with Pixelpoint for $120; because all of its advanced features require Bluetooth 4.0 pairing, only the iPad 3, 4, Air, and Mini are officially supported.
