3DS System UpdateNintendo has made a new system update available to Nintendo 3DS owners. Users who upgrade to Version 7.2.0-17U will gain the option to set an email address in the Parental Controls settings. Once this email address is set, a user can later have instructions sent there in case of a forgotten Parental Controls PIN.

As is typical, the update also includes minor adjustments and general improvements to system stability.

The system’s most recent update occurred in December 2013 and brought with it a boatload of enhancements, including Nintendo Network ID support, Miiverse integration, and the removal of the system transfer limit.
