Benjamin Bratt has joined the hunt for Jack Bauer in Fox’s “24: Live Another Day,” the network announced today.
The “Law & Order” alum will play Steve Harris, the head of the CIA operations tracking Kiefer Sutherland’s character, who is on the lam when the show begins. Harris oversees “Dexter’s” Yvonne Strahovski’s Kate Morgan, Gbenga Akinnagbe’s Erik Ritter and Giles Matthey’s Jordan Reed.
Sutherland and the creatives behind the event series shared details of the project with journalists at TCA earlier this week, including that the show will still take place over a 24-hour day (even though it’s 12 episodes) and that William Devane’s James Heller will now be President James Heller.
“Jack is still hunted when the show begins,” exec producer Manny Coto said at the panel. “What will come today is a character, a CIA agent, who has been on the hunt for Jack.
