STXFilms and AGBO have delayed the Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) led and Anthony and Joe Russo produced police thriller “21 Bridges” from September 27th to the weekend before Thanksgiving – November 22nd.
Brian Kirk (Luther) helms the film which follows a disgraced NYPD detective given a shot at redemption. A citywide manhunt is underway for a cop killer, and Manhattan is completely locked down for the first time in its history – no exit or entry to the island including all 21 bridges.
The film also stars J.K. Simmons, Sienna Miller, Taylor Kitsch, Keith David, Stephan James and Morocco Omari.
Boseman’s character begins to uncover a massive conspiracy that links his fellow cops to a criminal empire and must decide who he is hunting and who is actually hunting him. Adam Mervis wrote the film.
