Yamaha has just announced its latest iPod dock, the TSX-140. It has an unique feature called IntelliAlarm, that gradually fades in music as to not jolt sleepers awake. The dock is compatible with Apple’s iPod touch and iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4, and has a USB port for playing MP3 and WMA files from a thumb drive. An AM/FM radio is built-in.
The sound is delivered through two 3.5-inch ported bass reflex speakers. Users can sync their Apple devices when docked thanks to a mini USB connector as well. An ambient light sensor will adjust the illumination levels of the display and backlit controls that let users choose the source, adjust volume and radio presets, alarm clock and equalizer functions.
The TSX-140 will be available in black, brick and gray, with each color priced at $39.99.
