Battlefield 1 isn’t the only World War I shooter coming to consoles this year. Verdun, from creators M2H and Blackmill Games, is also on the way, but now we’ve learned Xbox One players will have to wait longer to play.

In an announcement on Steam, the developers said the Xbox One version has been delayed, though the PlayStation 4 edition remains on track to come out on August 30.

“Although we would have loved to release Verdun on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the same time, we regret to inform you that the Xbox One release is postponed,” the team said. “We hope to get the game as soon as possible on this great platform. Yet in order to deliver you a true trench warfare experience we need a little more time.”

There was no explanation provided for the delay. However, the studio said it was a “difficult decision” to make because the team “take[s] our releases seriously.”

There is no new release date for the Xbox One version.

The game claims to be the first “realistic” multiplayer first-person shooter set in World War I. The squad-based game features trench warfare as well as period-accurate weaponry and uniforms. It’s inspired by the infamous Battle of Verdun in 1916 and also features maps based on real battlefields in France and Belgium.
