Wargaming has revealed that their popular MMO title World of Tanks has managed to cross 100 Million registered users, which is quite an achievement for both the developers and the game.

The CEO of Wargaming Victor Kislyi on this glorious achievement stated:

World of Tanks created a new niche in the MMO market. We started on PC, but with other platforms in mind. By the launch of World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition and World of Tanks Blitz we stepped into two new markets, taking our signature gameplay to console and mobile, and it’s the direction we will pursue in future.

World of Tanks user base has been increasing steadily since its release and after making its mark on PC.  Nothing like Bring Tanks to E3 to get some free press and users.  Which they did a few years ago.  Now the MMO has came to Xbox 360, which now sports 3.8 Million registered users on that console.

In addition to making their game for Xbox 360 and PC, developers also released iOS version of the game called World of Tanks Blitz, which has been installed by the users over 5 million times since its launch a couple of months ago.
