Searchlight Pictures (Formally Fox Searchlight) has released a new official synopsis, cast list and release date for Wes Anderson’s new film The French Dispatch.
The film includes Anderson favorite cast members – Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Adrien Brody alongside Benicio del Toro, Tilda Swinton, Lea Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothee Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, and Stephen Park.
The film is described as “brings to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city.”
Anderson wrote the script from a story he work on with Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman, and Hugo Guinness.
The film is set to comes to cinemas on July 24th.
