InXile Entertainment founder Brian Fargo has teased a Switch release for Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut. According to Fargo, the same team behind the Android and iOS ports of The Bard’s Tale are handling Wasteland 2 for Switch. Fargo also noted an outpouring of enthusiasm from Nintendo owners for the port tease.

“I have to give props to Nintendo owners for your love of the machine. My Wasteland Switch screen shot had the quickest traction of most anything I’ve ever tweeted,” he said on Twitter.

InXile Entertainment is currently working on the development of Wasteland 3. It will be the same tactical RPG experience as Wasteland 2 was, taking place in the wilds of Colorado. Wasteland 3 will have a new dialog system, an upgradable home base, and the option for synchronous or asynchronous multiplayer. It is being developed for release on PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
