Wacom has introduced a new drawing tablet package for Windows and Mac that is designed to appeal to artists and cartoonists. The Intuos Manga Pen and Touch tablet follows on from similar earlier bundles from the tablet producer, combining one of its refreshed entry-level tablets with drawing applications from Smith Micro.

The hardware portion consists of a small-sized Intuos Pen and Touch tablet, which has a drawing area of 6×3.7 inches, 1024 pressure levels, multi-touch and gesture control, and four ExpressKeys for various application functions. Manga Studio Debut 4, included in the bundle, can be used to draw comic strips and manga using an integrated color palette, advanced shading options, and over 2,3000 professional-quality halftones. It is accompanied by Anime Studio Debut 8, a vector-based 2D animation app.

Available in the US now and in Canada from November 1st, the Intuos Manga is on sale for $99. A separate Wacom Wireless Kit, which allows the tablet to be more portable, is also available for $39.
