VGX Awards to Feature Sneak Peek at New Wii U Game

VGX  AwardsThe Spike VGX awards, previously known as the Video Game Awards, will include a sneak peek at an upcoming Wii U game as well as new looks at a handful of highly-anticipated titles for 2014, according to the show’s page.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will be in attendance to present the new information for the Wii U title, as will South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker for a new look at the recently-delayed South Park: The Stick of Truth.

The three-hour livestream will also include new information on Respawn’s Titanfall, Remedy’s Quantum Break, Double Fine’s Kickstarted adventure game Broken Age, Techland’s open-world zombie game Dying Light, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Tom Clancy’s The Division. The show will also include a special performance of the music of Grand Theft Auto 5, featuring artists fro the game’s original soundtrack.

Spike VGX will stream this Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning at 6 p.m. ET and will be streamed on PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Twitch, iOS and Android devices, through Yahoo Screen and Hulu and on VGXLIVE.com, Spike.com, ComedyCentral.com MTV.com, MTV2.com, BET.com and GameTrailers.com. A highlights reel from the show will air on Spike TV Monday, Dec. 9 at midnight.
