Publisher Ubisoft revealed it sold more than one million dance games during Black Friday week.

Just Dance 3, the third game of Ubisoft’s flagship dance franchise, sold 700,000 copies last week between the Wii an Xbox 360, according to internal estimates. A PlayStation 3 version with support for Move motion controls launches next week.

“The popularity of Ubisoft’s dance games continues to gain momentum as these games appeal to a wide variety of consumers because they are fun to play alone or with friends and family,” says Tony Key, Ubisoft’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement.

Along with their library of Just Dance titles, Ubisoft has also released The Black Eyed Peas Experience and ABBA You Can Dance. Last year, the publisher launched a dance title based on the music of pop icon Michael Jackson.
