Wolverine Japans Most WantedIn just a couple of weeks, The Wolverine will see the titular hero traveling to Japan for a new adventure on the big screen. Conveniently, Marvel is also launching a new weekly digital comic series on comiXology called Wolverine: Japan’s Most Wanted.

The series, part of their year-old “Infinite Comics” line, plays with the traditional layout of a comic book page, adding single panels and word balloons at a time to show more direct changes and better drive action in their stories. DC Comics launched a similar initiative, DC2 just last week with Batman ’66.

Wolverine: Japan’s Most Wanted comes from writers Jason Aaron and Jason Latour and artist Paco Diaz, and Wired.com announced the next weekly series, Iron Man: Fatal Frontier written by Al Ewing and (current Iron Man print writer) Kieron Gillen and drawn by Lan Medina. While  the release date for the Iron Man series has not been revealed, presumably it will be after the 13-part Wolverine story.
