chris-pratt-billy-on-the-streetThe Turner Broadcasting System-owned cabler TruTV has announced an Oct. 8 return of Billy Eichner’s rapid-fire comedy routine “Funny Or Die’s Billy on the Street.” The show famously forces unsuspecting pedestrians into the spotlight as they’re forced to answer inane questions or perform stunts with good-natured guest stars. This year’s crop of A-listers accompanying Eichner on his quests include Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Anna Kendrick and Julianne Moore.

Meanwhile, hidden camera show “Impractical Jokers” will return in August with a week-long celebration that culminates in a celebration of its 100th episode with the “Impractical Jokers Live Punishment Special.” Airing on Sept. 3 and hosted by Howie Mandel, the special promises a “heart-stopping dare that’s above and beyond anything the guys have ever done.”

truTV also announced the September premiere dates for two new shows: “Road Spill,” a show that explores what people really dish about in the privacy of their own cars, and “Adam Ruins Everything,” a comedy that has CollegeHumor comedian Adam Conover debunking social conventions that most people take for granted.

Adam is like that friend who knows a little bit too much about everything and is going to tell you about it…whether you like it or not. “Adam Ruins Everything” isn’t just fun to watch, but addictively informative. It’s everything you didn’t want to need to know. The show was born out of a popular CollegeHumor original series that has generated more than 30 million views since premiering online with the video “Why Engagement Rings Are a Scam” in early 2014.
