A “strategy/visual novel game,” Aksys announced today that Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is set to release for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on March 10, 2015 in North America through retail stores and the PlayStation Store. NIS, the publisher in Europe, has only said the game will release in 2015.
Having you become a ghost hunter who works with the rest of your team to battle evil spirits and help others seek peace in this game, here’s what you’ll find in Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters:
- A visual novel with a twist – Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters’ choose-your-own-path mechanic innovates and makes players use her senses and emotions, allowing players to “feel” and “sense” their decisions which ultimately affects the storyline.
- You ain’t ‘fraid of no ghosts! – Prepare your characters by purchasing traps and equipment, then duke it out against violent spirits with three other characters. Characters gain experience, new items and more in this turn-based RPG style battle!
- 13 episodic tales plus side missions – Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is told in 13 creepy tales. Depending on your choices, the story will change – make the right choices and you will be rewarded. To level up your characters, do side missions to battle spirits and help others.
