The Inhumans is to be adapted as a motion comic by Marvel Knights Animation. Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee’s hit series will be the eighth Marvel title to be given the motion treatment by Shout! Factory, following the likes of Iron Man: Extremis, Black Panther and Astonishing X-Men: Unstoppable.
Inhumans, which follows a group of genetically-enhanced beings fighting to protect their island kingdom of Attilan, ran for 12 issues between 1998 and 1999. A movie based on the property was rumored to be in the planning stages two years ago, but there have been no developments since. Marvel Studios previously confirmed that Ant-Man and Doctor Strange movies will form part of its ‘Phase Three’ line-up.
The Inhumans motion comic will be available on DVD from April 23.
