T-Mobile LogoT-Mobile is putting on show before the year comes to a close.

Uncarrier X, a live event hosted by CEO John Legere, will take place November 10 at the Shrine Theater in Los Angeles. T-Mobile’s Uncarrier shows are usually a rambunctious affair with lots of energy (and some profanity) from Legere, who typically talks about new initiatives and services from the carrier. Invitations went out to the press today announcing the event.

Bellevue, Washington-based T-Mobile is the US’s either third or fourth largest cellphone carrier, and it has been steadily gaining new customers quarter after quarter.

In the last year it’s done that by introducing simplified business plans, offering to buy out a payment or lease plan on another carrier to get you to switch and giving customers monthly rollovers for unused data. Those programs and others have netted the company 2.3 million new customers in its third fiscal quarter.

T-Mobile didn’t divulge what it will announce at the event, or offer any clues, but expect new services from the company that may attract new customers and reward its existing subscribers. And we can expect Legere to put on an interesting show as always.
