Sophie Okonedo, Brian Gleeson and Alistair Petrie have joined the cast of the Neil Marshall-directed reboot of the Hellboy franchise at Lionsgate.
The story follows the hero and his ragtag team of paranormal researchers who are trying to save the world from a medieval sorceress who wants to destroy humankind.
Okonedo will play Lady Hatton, a resident seer at the ancient British society the Osiris Club. Petrie is playing high-ranking club member Lord Adam Glaren, while Gleeson will play the wizard Merlin.
The group join David Harbour as Hellboy, Milla Jovovich as the Blood Queen, Ian McShane as Professor Broom, Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio and Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida. Filming is currently underway.
