Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto and Kenji Taira (Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals) have drawn a “Boruto -Road to “B”-” manga one-shot for this year’s 36th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga one-shot is a collaboration with next week’s Boruto -Naruto the Movie- release.

The issue also bundles a variant cover for the August 4 book volume release of Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring manga. (The regular cover is the left side of the center image above, and the bundled variant cover is the right side.)

In Kishimoto’s half of the Boruto manga one-shot, the ninja Mitsuki introduces Boruto and Sarada as members of his team. Mitsuki is about to reveal his own identity, except he teases that he ran out of space and urges readers to watch the movie to learn more. The movie has a web commercial that similarly teased that the identity of Mitsuki’s parents will be revealed in the movie.
