Sharp appears to be expanding its launch plans for the FX Plus handset, a budget Android offering that takes inspiration from the company’s Sidekick messaging phone. Walmart was the first retailer to sell the device, however it is now set to arrive at many of AT&T’s other outlets.

The QWERTY slider integrates a basic set of smartphone features, centered around Android 2.2 and a 3.2-inch touchscreen. Other features include a three-megapixel camera, 512MB of internal storage, and 7.2Mbps connectivity on AT&T’s network.

Walmart currently sells the FX Plus for free with a new two-year contract, or for $350 without a contract.
