A PC version of the PlayStation 3 strategy-RPG Valkyria Chronicles is in the works, Sega announced this week.
Released early in the PlayStation 3’s lifespan (it doesn’t even have trophy support, for crying out loud), Valkyria Chronicles features third-person shooter gameplay in the context of a turn-based military strategy game. Its unique art style and alternate-universe take on World War II-era combat won it a committed fanbase, and a pair of sequels (one officially localized, the other fan-translated) followed on the PSP.
Sega has issued no further details regarding the port, but notes that more information is coming soon.
