Samsung in a move just before CES 2018, announced a curved QLED monitor which also supports Thunderbolt 3. The monitor is called CJ791. the 34 inches monitor sports 21:9 aspect ratio, 3,440 x 1,440 resolution, and a 4ms response time.
The thunderbolt 3 port on the display supports changing laptops with as much as 85W of power, if the laptop supports power over USB C/ Thunderbolt 3 port. Another advantage of Thunderbolt 3 is in streamlining the number and size of cables required to connect a series of peripherals to your computer.
Samsung has not disclose the full specs, price, and availability of the CJ791. This won’t be known until the monitor’s full unveiling at CES in Las Vegas next week.
