Samsung has rolled out an updated version of the NX300M mirrorless camera with a 180-degree flip-screen. The 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen display on the previous model couldn’t rotate beyond 90-degrees, with the new model targeting users keen on taking high-quality selfies. However, beyond the improved flexibility of the display, Samsung has retained same specifications for the device in every other regard.

As with the original, the updated NX300M, retains a 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with an ISO range of 100-25,600 ISO. Its 1/6000 shutter speed also helps with its ability to shoot 8.6fps in burst mode, which works in tandem with its hybrid autofocus system to take sharper photos. Connectivity includes dual-channel Wi-Fi with SmartShare and NFC capability.

As with the NX300, the NX300M will be available in brown, white and black. Official pricing and availability is yet to be announced, but should be around $750 with 20-50mm F/3.5-5.6 ED lens and flash.
