RealNetworks today announced the launch of RealTimes, the company’s successor to RealPlayer Cloud. The RealTimes software, in conjunction with the company’s cloud storage, picks moments from a consumer’s photo and video camera roll and automatically creates a RealTimes Story, curating the user’s stored media for easier consumption.

The RealTimes app is available as a free download on Android, iOS, Windows, Roku TV players, and Chromecast. It will soon be available on OS X, Amazon Fire Phone, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Kindle Fire, and Xbox One. RealTimes comes with two gigabytes (2GB) of cloud storage for free, plus an additional five gigabytes (5GB) to users who enable Auto Upload.

All of RealPlayer Cloud’s features are available in RealTimes. Current RealPlayer Cloud users can upgrade to RealTimes for free — all personal media will be automatically migrated to a new RealTimes account.

RealTimes also offers two subscription plans: a $5 per month Premium Plan for an additional 25GB of storage and a $10 per month Unlimited Plan. In addition to the two subscription plans, users can opt for the in-app $1 purchase which allows creation of a RealTimes Story longer than 30 seconds.
