Pyle Announces 300-watt iOS Sound Bar Docking System

Pyle has unveiled its new PSBM60I iOS Sound Bar Docking System that both charges the devices and uses them to deliver up to 300 watts of sound utilizing a 5.25-inch woofer, two three-inch full-range speakers and two one-inch tweeters. The dock can be used with non-iOS devices via a 3.5mm mini-cable and can even be be used for DVD or TV sound via RCA cables.

The unit features a built-in FM stereo that offers autosearch and 20 presets, and the front panel also offers controls for muting, volume, input and standby. The PSBM60I also comes with a AAA-battery powered remote that can control tuning and bass as well.

Frequency response is rated at 20Hz-20kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 70dB and total harmonic distortion rate of less than 0.5 percent. The device measures 25.5 inches wide by 10.5 inches deep and stands 5.5 inches in height.

The unit includes an iPad stand to keep the device stable when docked, and includes the 3.5mm mini cable for connecting other MP3 players or computers as well as the RCA cabled needed for connecting DVD players or televisions. The PSBM60I is now available in piano black and has a MSRP of $307, though some dealers are already heavily discounting that price.
