Pokemon’s kid-friendly spinoff comes to 3DS in North America on March 24. The localized title, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. For some reason the Japanese title’s reference to “Magnagates” has been dropped.
Magnagates still figure into the game design, however, allowing players to scan any real-world circular shape with the 3DS camera, turning the image of that object into a gate through which new, randomly-generated dungeons can be accessed.
Like other recent releases, Gates to Infinity will be released both as a cartridge and on the eShop.
